Client: Facebook Production Co: Facebook Stories It is always great when a project can merge two passions. In our creative lives, Facebook has come to mean so much more than a newsfeed filled with pictures of cute cats, it has become a life-line for staying in touch with all of the creative people we meet, serving as a constant source of inspiration. In our adventurous lives, Kenya has grown fond in our hearts. In a short 10 months we have found ourselves traveling to this incredible country on 3 separate projects. Every trip provides new insight into its rich and vibrant culture. We have had the opportunity to work with two different tribes and always come away feeling particularly lucky for the experience. Documenting companies that truly impact the globe provides wonderful perspective on how we are shaping the world in the 21st century. The biggest takeaway from this project was our lack of shock in learning that the Samburu tribe in remote Northern Kenya are using Facebook to communicate with friends around the globe. We get it! We do it too! It was a blast helping Facebook commemorate their 10 year anniversary. The project was a fantastic collaboration with the production team at Facebook. Being able to blend Navigate’s network of talented collaborators with their staff served us well and enriched the experience. It was an honor to help them celebrate!
